The Interpolators

The Interpolated Theatre Company seeks to focus on the in-between and examine the intersectionality of society. Through a contemporary lens, we aim to create works that engage the current, ever-evolving moments and communities that surround us. We promise to create an accessible, diverse space that challenges the conventions of American theatre.

We work to affirm both the Chicago Theatre Standards and Principles for Building Anti-Racist Theatre Systems in our desire to push American theatre forward.

Our Mission

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

The Interpolated Theatre Company is deeply committed to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion in every aspect of our work. We wholeheartedly affirm the urgent and ongoing need for meaningful representation across all dimensions of theatre — including actors, designers, directors, playwrights, and production teams. We believe that theatre is at its most powerful when it reflects the full spectrum of human experience, and we strive to create spaces where artists from all backgrounds, identities, and lived experiences are not only welcomed, but celebrated. Through intentional casting, inclusive storytelling, and equitable creative practices, we aim to challenge systemic barriers and amplify underrepresented voices in the theatre community and beyond.
